Story excerpt:
"What's the fun of going back to class if you can't have one more party?
Nearly 20,000 people came out for Aurora Public Schools' 12th annual Back to School Kickoff. Students, families and APS staff hit the Town Center at Aurora for live music, free food and fun.
But here's the best part - 4,500 backpacks and school supplies were given away. This event is designed to be a celebration and get students excited to head back to class. But it's also a great chance for the APS community to come together."
