We know we have some incredibly talented art teachers in Aurora Public Schools and now everyone can enjoy their creations! Our art teachers are displaying their professional works in the annual APS Art Educators' Exhibition hosted by Downtown Aurora Visual Arts (DAVA).
The exhibition is located at located at 1419 Florence Street in Aurora and will run through February 24. It's open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free to the public.
Rangeview High School Art Educator Faith Williams Dyrsten's work is featured in the exhibit and said, "I am so excited to show my personal artwork alongside many of the talented art educators of Aurora Public Schools! Making artwork and activating my own creativity helps inspire me to be more 'present' for my students. I want them to see every artist in our classroom as someone who has a voice, including me. This show is such a wonderful way to share so much of the creativity, expertise and passions from the APS art educators as skillful artists themselves."
